In our experience, we have found many things that you wouldn't want in your tank, from animals to shopping trolleys (not joking).
The most common cause of complaints are bad smells, skin irritations and stomach bugs. This can often be from a dead animal or a heavy build up of mud and sludge and even rusty roofs.
